Job Description :

  • Contract position for Electrical Engineers for High Frequency / RF design and with High Power Amplifier experience for the defense industry. 

  • Must have an active secret security clearance as position is with a defense contractor.

  • Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems.

  • Determines design approaches and parameters.  

  • Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.  

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.  

  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.  

  • Review vendor capability to support development.  

  • Design analog/RF/microwave circuit cards and microelectronics assemblies for use in electronic warfare applications.  

  • Select COTS components within unit production cost guidelines.  

  • Specify custom or semi-custom components to achieve required system performance.  

  • Develop test specifications and execute design verification tests for developmental and production hardware.

Required Qualifications :

  • BS Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with RF and High Frequency design.  

  • Ability to simulate microwave circuits using Keysight ADS and to design and analyze transistor level circuits.  

  • Experience in both PCB and chip/wire circuit construction.

  • Experience using Cadence Allegro schematic capture tool and in Analog circuit design (op-amps, data converters, log video amplifiers, PLL).  

  • Knowledge of key RF parameters (bandwidth, gain compression, intermodulation distortion, noise figure, spurious emissions).  

  • Must have an active secret security clearance as position is with a defense contractor.
