Job Description :

  • Permanent position for an Associate Product Manager to assist in application and business development of specialty additives for industrial fluid, metalworking, lubricant and household cleaning markets.

  • Work closely with manufacturing plants and manufacturing support.

  • Review and advise Product Managers throughout R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing Scale-up and other phases of the product lifecycle.

  • Utilize financial analytical skills to manage new product pricing, price requests and strategies and profit & loss.

  • Interface with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to support the material planning process and date using SAP.

  • Interface with QA and QC to support specification revisions.

  • Assist maintenance teams to in establishing guidelines for inventory, reorder points, and safety stock levels.

  • Support the Business Development Team with key strategic customers to develop and grow the business through sales leads and market analysis.

  • Interface with regulatory team in their review of SDS documents and other food regulatory submissions and implement changes as needed.

  • Create and update technical data sheets and materials for technical promotions including brochures and webinars

  • Manage the customer complaint process.

Required Qualifications :

  • BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.

  • MBA or other Masters degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical / Chemical Sales, or Product Management.

  • Experience with performance chemical additives, preferably in the industrial fluid, metalworking, lubricant and household cleaning markets.

  • Strong ability to improve processes and procedures and manage strategic projects and programs.

  • Strong analytical, data analysis, project management, organizational and computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, SAP).

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.

  • Experience with SAP preferred

  • Ability to travel 10-15% to visit customers and manufacturing sites.
