Job Description :
- Contract to direct position for a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for supporting and improving products and production processes.
- Drive process improvement activities on the production floor.
- Develop and improve processes including methods and flow.
- Support and improve production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Pursue and support cost reduction and sustainability initiatives
- Support new product development projects and new product introduction projects.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Create or revise drawings, part numbers, BOMs, and routings.
- Execute engineering work orders (EWO) to document changes.
Required Qualifications :
- Proven experience as manufacturing engineer or similar technical role.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and high level technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Must possess project management skills.
