Job Description :
- Contract to direct position for a Mechanical Engineer to serve as a product engineer for air filtration products and systems.
- Design products to meet customer requirements and comply with applicable regulations (ISO, UL, ASTM, etc.); Create CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
- Build and/or test prototype samples.
- Manage project tasks and timelines.
- Implement engineering work orders (EWO) for design changes and new product releases.
- Pursue and support cost reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide support to both internal and external customers.
- Contribute to team effort by supporting company's goals for growth, continuous improvement, and profitability.
Required Qualifications :
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience with mechanical design and product development.
- Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Experience with ERP systems (AS/400 based systems a plus).
- Experience with Project Management in an ISO 9001environment and with document control systems.
- Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Air Filtration; HVAC systems; Enterprise PDM; Lean Manufacturing.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
