Job Description :
- Long term contract position for a Senior Quality Engineer for medical device manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Divisional QA, cross-functional, shared services and supplier’s teams to address top quality issues.
- Participate in creation and/or review of new or modified procedures.
- Approve of quality records.
- Apply statistical methods of analysis and process control to current operations in support of management review, CAPA, and other quality system processes.
- Assess internal and supplier proposed change management activities.
- Develop understanding of risk management practices and concepts and apply knowledge to manufacturing operations.
- Lead internal and supplier driven non-conformances and manage the timely closure of NC's.
- Support the creation and maintenance of inspection methods and sampling.
Required Qualifications :
- BS Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with custom gage design.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Experience with instrument cleaning processes according to ISO 19927.
- Experience with Human Factor practices, familiarity in the science of Human Factor identification, reduction, and mitigation.
